  Great south American dishes. Good environment. Great service. The food was amazing. The price is worth the quality taste.

  I’m going to rate this restaurant one star, well actually is for the owner “CHEF” David Guerrero. Let me tell you why. He told me one day to open Gordis because I’m from Venezuela, I know the food, how to prepare, how it really tastes and we used the recipe to my mum to give them authentic flavor to the arepas. He got the spot in the conservatory, and I bough everything for the restaurant, with the only condition that I was going to receive my money back with the profit of the first months, literally he didn’t put any cent to open the restaurant. For the first couple months he told me that the profit was only 0,5% of the gross sales, but When I did the math, the real profit was about the 30% of the gross sales, and he never explained me and showed me where was that 29,5% of the money. Now he wants to give me back only 60% of the money that I invested, but in 10 monthly payments, but he never answers the phone or texts so he is hidden. I want to share my experience because I know he is looking for new “Partners” to open a new restaurant and I want to alert people how he really is, and avoid them to be scammed. Think twice if you wanna Invest with “CHEF” David Guerrero you will lose your money.....

  First, a Zagat rated restaurant does not let its clients sit in a hot humid restaurant with no AC. The AC was out last night and a good restaurant manager should always have a back-up plan. This made our evening unbearable. We tried to be good sports about the situation because our son was the DJ and his Latin sounds are amazing. The beer, especially the Peruvian beer, was great. Cocktails, however, were overpriced as were most of their dishes for what you get, not to mention that they cover up everything with hominy which is tasteless. The food lacked soul and flavor, although a few small plates were decent. Not sure that I would come to Cafe Andes again except to try their locally roasted coffee. I do hope that management gets their act together because the only air coming into the restaurant was the main door and it wasn't enough to cool an already cramped space with various patrons. For my party of 10, it was a SAD miss!

  I love Latin food. This place has a great selection and the service was good. I wouldn’t recommend for a big party just because the acoustics aren’t great and it’s hard to hear people. But I would definitely recommend for smaller groups.

  I love food! I love new places! The waiter chose our meals for us because I didn’t know what I wanted. This place made my belly so happy! So impressed!
