  I recently used Anchor Moving from Hyde park for a huge move from the Bronx, NY to Cortlandt Manor ( 55 minutes away). I had interviewed several moving companies, taking this move very seriously because it meant moving an entire 5 bedroom house and an 1 bedroom apartment with over 50 years of cherished possessions. Paul and his crew could not have been more helpful and professional! They worked fast and carefully. You could see they actually cared about providing good service and taking care of our belongings. They provided clean safe trucks and equipment. They stayed until the job was completely done and they finished when they originally projected they would. The price was also true as first quoted, no extra fees! They were a delight to use and I will personally recommend them to anyone needing a excellent moving company!

  Anchor moving did a great job on my move from Astoria to Huntington. They showed up on time and the guys were great. The workers were polite and at the end of the move we all felt like family. They wrapped every piece of furniture and and took apart my entertainment center and re-installed it like pros. This was the one piece I was very concerned about. I felt very comfortable with my items in the hands of this company. Thanks a lot for a great move and making a stressful day fun.

  Satisfied with the knowledge and the transporting of my baby grand piano. My mother gave me her Steinway piano after many years and Anchor moving made me feel comfortable with my decision right from the start. The crew was friendly and they even shoveled the snow from my walkway which made a better path to bring in the piano. They had all the necessary tools and equipment. They even had protectors to place under my piano legs to protect it from the floor.

  The move was flawless. Everything was safe and secure, you could tell they were real professionals. I was able to book the move without a problem, and the price was very reasonable. From the moment they showed up, they worked non-stop to ensure the move went well. Paul was very personable and really great. He made sure we were informed and happy with the process. Everything was moved quickly from our old apt to the new one and we felt like we were in good hands. I've heard from friends who have bad experiences and paid more than us, that we were very lucky. The guys were very nice and made the move a great experience! Thank you!

  THE GUYS DID IT AGAIN!!! A few of my friends have used Anchor Moving before and all gave great reviews. personally I have used them to move me and also recently to relocate my mother from her 2 bedroom home to smaller more manageable apartment. Paul and the crew handled this very stressful process with ease, from packing to moving her belongings to storage and her new residence to unpacking and even setting up her electronics! The whole job was seamless. These guys are amazing... polite and professional at very competitive prices. I will recommend this company to anyone looking to move no matter what size job.
