::Ive been religiously eating analog sandwiches biweekly for 100 weeks and I can honestly say that my quality of life has skyrocketed. I think about the VHS vegan all the time. Those thick mushrooms, sweet sweet sweet potato puree, those avocado delights, and that BREAD. Damn. That bread. It doesn't get much better than that bread.

::Definitely a "hole in the wall" kind of place with vegan and omnivore food that is tasty! We had dinner there last night after reading reviews about vegan eateries we would like to try. After a month of trying vegan fare in Berkeley and Oakland, this is one that we would return to try more from the menu. The "analog" technology feel is nostalgic at best, based on our first hand experience with the era... But, we went there for the food, which is the best reason to give it a try! We (I) tried both the vegan and omnivore Rueben sandwiches. Both were very good, owing to the bread which didn't get soggy(+) and the tasty and spicy slaw(+). This was the best vegan Rueben sandwich I've had so far! A small but, decent selection of local beers and ales on tap. Wait until you see the new "digital" way of pouring a beer, it will blow your mind if you haven't seen it before!

::Great vegan sandwiches. Sweet potato salad. Delicious.

::Expensive vegan hipster sandwiches. They're amazing. If you don't like those things, you will struggle. If you like those things you will be pleased.

::Big sandwiches; well worth the $10 price tag. Both vegan and meat options available. The space is insanely small, so I wouldn't bring a bunch of people in to dine-in, and even coming with just one other person is hit or miss as to whether or not space will be available, but the sandwiches are delicious. They take a while to make, so my best advice if you're taking it to go is to call ahead with your order. One time my friend and I ordered a meat sandwich and a vegan sandwich to go; when we got home, we couldn't tell which one was which by the cut of the filling, and I ended up eating the wrong sandwich due to lack of labeling, which was a problem. Otherwise, I've never had an issue in-store, and everything has always been delicious.
