::The man working the front desk on April 29, 2018 was mean & very rude!!! He even yelled @ the red cap attempting to get people's luggage in the right side of the door! The woman on Saturday, May 5th was EVEN MORE RUDE! She wouldn't even acknowledge I had asked a question or my very presence, but I waited her out. Those TWO NEED TO BE FIRED...but, the snacks were great, the bartenders were great. I do want to know why woman's shower B was NOT WORKING the day I arrived & STILL NOT WORKING 7 DAYS LATER???

::A lovely place to relax, rest and spend time between trains or waiting for your departure.. Great free coffee, juices, soft drinks and a variety of snacks. Upstairs is much quieter than downstairs. Highly recommended!

::For sleeper car passengers, this lounge is a great free benefit. If you have a few hours layover, you can put your bags in the storage room for free. That way you can explore downtown Chicago more easily. The facilities include free coffee, tea, and soft drinks. They sometimes have bar snacks. The staff will also help you reserve a table in your train's dining car, so that you don't have to wait until you are on the the train. There are shower facilities, but I didn't test those. The waiting area is nice and large, with comfy couches.

::SO much better than sitting in the general waiting area. Early boarding is very nice as well. Pretty limited selection of snacks compared to other clubs (like airlines).

::The staff is professional and efficient. Much better than my last encounter a year ago. I am very impressed with the new Metropolitan Lounge. Large space to accommodate the many business and sleeping car passengers. A cash bar in the afternoon and fresh healthy snacks. Way to go Amtrak!
