  While this hotel did try- it is very outdated and worn. Our window was filthy and the seal was broken, the carpet was so worn it had a hole in it. The breakfast was all carbs and apples. I would attach pictures but this app won’t let me. The only think that worked in the work out room was the treadmill. When we asked about other equipment, they said they would look into it and call our room, that never happened . If you need a cheap stay for the night, it was ok, for an extended stay I would go else where.

  The rooms wore very clean, great price for a quick stay. Friendly service. This is a old building, smelled like cigarette smoke. Terrible mattress. Very loud at night because it's close to the highway. Bring earplugs. Don't pay extra for breakfast it's very cheap looking food.

  Clean budget hotel with a great staff and location. Staff is tops. Metro North to NYC is close too.

  Best place I ever stayed! Great & friendly staff. Cleanest rooms, super location, close to everything. I would highly recommend staying at The Amsterdam in Stamford!

  Absolute bang for your buck. Clean rooms. Kind of charming in a cheap European hotel way. Pretty central location. Frankly, for the price I paid I'd have given it a 5-star rating if the water pressure in the shower wasn't abysmal. Seriously, if the water pressure were any less the water would be sucked up back into the shower head.
