  Its in Phoenix by the time you get there they willbe ready for you so have a summer of fun

  It is fun to have to cross bridges to get onto this picnic island. You can see boats, ducks and geese swimming around in the moat but the bathrooms and playgrounds are a few bridges and several paths over. I would make sure I was closer to the playground. The entrance to the Enchanted amusement park is closer to Amp Island than the playground, just a bridge away. Anyone can picnic on the island for free during the week but on the weekends you are required to have a reservation. All the playgrounds here are covered with wood chips. I didn't see any graffiti. The park is kept very clean.
