::Is there anything that can be said against Amoeba. Great place to spend free time perusing aisles for music. I still listen to CDs so I love going to Amoeba every now and then when I get a desire to hear an entire album from an artist I like. Anyway long winded review. Great place, great employees. If you like music you must visit Amoeba when in town.

::One of the only music stores still around. Fortunately, it would have been one of the best in any Era. Absolutely huge. Beautiful, inspiring space. Amazing selection in every genre. Some books, posters, memorabilia as well. Great people watching too. I also enjoy the location. Catch a movie next door.

::Holy Cow!!!This place is HUGE! Could spend hours wandering around and checking out all of the cool stuff. Great atmosphere and music in every form and genre imaginable. The back room is a record collectors dream. Upstairs is just about every movie you can think of plus T.V. shows and other DVD 's too. And a great selection of Rock and other music T shirts all over the store with cool music related items.

::This is one of the few records stores that truly truly has it all. I come here and I feel like I could spend days looking and listening to different music or reading books or finding amazing obscurities. Do this fantastic Haven a favor and support it. I don't know of many record stores anymore and before the age of digital destroys The Nostalgia of having a physical copy of something, go in and buy something. I promise you, you won't regret anything you purchase there and honestly there's no other place like it that I've ever seen. This is a place that I will always love and always remember, keep Amoeba Music alive.

::Simply an unbelievable place. If it exists, it is music related and it’s worth owning, Amoeba will have it, can get it, or it ain’t worth having. So I recently saw Jim James (from My Morning Jacket) do a live show here. He loves Amoeba and explained the store this way: Amoeba “is like a place at the end of the end of the galaxy where we all end up after we die and where we all listen to records.” Beam me up, Scotty. That’s just about a perfect description of this very Mary Poppins-like place that’s “practically perfect in every way.” Are the prices a tad high? Yes. But, given the location, selection and knowledgeable staff, I’d say that’s a fair trade off.
