  Like two slices of bread, one side is the LGBT Center down the street and the other side is Townspeople for AIDS Housing, just two doors away. What was needed to make this is a sandwich was the meat in between, thus the Serenity Center was opened to help insure that anyone in Hillcrest's gay community found help and support in their recovery.
