  This place isn't the best, but its not the worst. I booked a room through Expedia for a decent price. When I got there, I was charged a $100 fee on top of what I had already paid online. The guy at the front desk didn't tell me what it was for. I had to ask him for him to tell me it what it was for and that it was refundable. The room was clean and spacious. On Expedia, it said breakfast was included. Breakfast consisted of doughnuts and croissants. If you want to get your money's worth, I HIGHLY suggest you go somewhere else. You definitely get what you pay for.

  Rooms are refurbished and look great. Close to LAX makes it convenient. Traffic in LA is ridiculous so this location is ideal for travellers with early morning or late evening flights.

  Food was horrible. Went down for breakfast and the area was dirty. They could've just swept the floor. Staff was cold and off putting. Room was clean and comfortable for a night rest. If your expectations and budget are low this is the place to go.

  Shabby but very clean. The hotel looks shabby but the bed was all white (which I love b/c it means they regularly bleach stuff) and clean, pillows were fluffy and linens were crisp. The bathroom was very clean and the towels were snow-white even when held up to the light. My stay was quite pleasant as I watched a Law & Order marathon while I twisted my hair and had a great, restful night sleep. Just don't try to walk to the Starbucks which is super close- there are crazy people on the street and they can smell an out-of-towner a mile away.

  There's nothing like listening to the sound of traffic and sirens through out the night because the window must stay open since the AC is broken. So is the elevator. And the TV. I'm just glad the toilet works. Shower... TBD. Glad I was finally able to adjust to the smell of weed mixed with mosquito spray. Not to mention the great rest I'll get sleeping on the stiff mattress and paper sheets. Thank you American Airlines for that GENEROUS discount. Wouldn't have done it without you!
