  I have an american water heater company unit in my garage installed at the end of 2014 that was supposed to have a 6 year warranty. I called the toll free number that connects you to the Tennessee home base. They refused to honor the warranty on the new unit because it was actually already a replacement on the same unit that was installed before that failed in the exact same way. Garbage product. Garbage phone support. Garbage warranty..

  I was running off to work when I realized my old water heater was leaking. Called these guys off of a referral they came out got it done before I got home and charged me a fair price. Thanks guys! Peoria az

  No STARS!!!!! Our experience with this company has been the worst experience I have ever had to go through. We bought a water heater from Lowe's back on 8/18/2015 and started having problems with the water heater in June. We replaced on element on 6/29 and then everything else on 6/30( both thermostats, and other element.) Still no hot water for days at a time. Second time, plumber came out on 8/11, he said that there is a leak around one of the thermostats, so he replaced the thermostat and cleaned up around the thermostat. They sent our plumber two times, both times they did not having working electrical meters to test electricity to the water heater and breaker box. Now American Water Heater Company is telling us there is nothing else they can do even though we have explained to them there is a leak around the thermostat. We will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Burea to this resolved because AWHC is so incompetent and refuse to replace a leaky Whirlpool water heater. I will never buy anything from Lowe's or Whirlpool ever again. I am so disappointed with both the customer service and product. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
