::I have never witnessed and experienced so much lies and deception from this company. I think I might have to resort to legal action with this company because this is unacceptable. 4 months ago I get sideswiped by a Yellow Cab driver - Remy Alphonse - Taxi Plate Number - 2321A avoid this scum at all costs because if he hits you he will try to get away. Let's not forget the couple that were passengers he had inside that had to walk off the park avenue overpass. The fact that I had to chase him and the only reason he stopped is because he saw an empty state trooper SUV is basically saying he would have continued trying to escape. Long story short I'm receiving the upmost run around from this company, today is May 22nd which supposedly a decision is supposed to be made on my claim and then on the 28th I'm supposed to be mailed the check. What a big fat lie. The decision is still "Pending" which is extremely frustrating at this point when you work very hard for something and it is destroyed and there is no fault on the other end when they are responsible. Avoid yellow cabs and TLC drivers their insurance will not pay for your damages and you will be left stranded. I wish I could give zero stars.

::I rather throw my car away than deal with these pieces of garbage again. Should not legally be allowed to operate. If you ever have to deal with them, get a lawyer immediately. You will lose a ton of money if you do not. They insure all of the yellow cabs in NYC and your claim will take months and months to complete, after which they will tell you they are not paying for the all of damages your entitled too. I was %100 not at fault and had to pay out of pocket since these snakes would find any excuse to not pay. Isiah and Shabev are the most incompetent people I have ever talked to at ext. 209 and 577. Good luck should someone insure by them ever hit your car.

I'm giving 1 star because I can't give -0 this the most stupid and bad company (FIRST I get a letter from dmv that said I'll get a suspension because no insurance coverage) SECOND I did a vehicle transfer and I have more than 3 weeks without insurance records on my new car TLC told me American transit insurance need to fix it before I can work and I'm waiting and losing my time (AMERICAN TRANSIT AND INSHUR should be eliminate I'll make complaint to the city about all of this PLEASE BE AWARE EVERYONE

::Everyone who gave this insurance company more than one star is either an employee from this company or got paid to do it, which would be ironic because this company only wants money, but not giving it away. Alright, new drivers who might start driving a FHV, do yourself a huge favor and do NOT insure your car with this insurance company. People who are in charge of this company are snakes. They only want your money, and when you have an accident and it's not your fault, THEY'LL LEAVE YOU ON YOUR OWN. They would manage to find an excuse if not more than one not to help you. There's more unpleasant things that you'll have to go through if you get to a situation like this and it's not worth talking or discussing about it. Another important thing is not to insure your car only with liability. I know it's cheaper and stuff, but hey, do you prefer to go through a situation like this OR have reliable help when your car has full coverage and from a better insurance company?
