::Great bar with a medium sized patio. The bar food really sets the place apart. You can order BBQ and other snacks from the bar at anytime during the night. The food quality isn't gourmet but hits the spot.

::Love American ice company! Friendly staff, good beer selection and fun picnic tables out front. Swachos are a must!

::Great outdoor space for drinks when it's a reasonable temperature outside: kind of like an enclosed biergarten. Hip people, young crowd, all I had were beers son can't comment on any mixed drinks. About as good as you can expect from a DC bar in a hip part of town.

::Great spot for beers and grub. Got the swachos and they were very tasty, but can't say the same for the chili (it was just chili). Vibe, beer selection, comfort and friendliness of staff all good and I would definitely come back. It's nice that it's a little of the beaten path of U Street, too, which may mean it's less crowded than some of the regular haunts on that strip. All in all, a recommended watering hole for when you're thirsty.

::Definitely a hip bar with some great patio space (heated as well). Tried their milk stout and the grilled cheese. Their food menu mainly consists of southern comfort food, with a few twists. I'm coming back for both the food and beer. Great for large groups!
