  This place is the worst I've EVER had to deal with, I called to see if my insurance gave them an authorized to do a cleaning, I called 3 times and was on the phone for over 20 minutes, the girls in the front should be FIRED!!! they don't know what there doing when it concerns patient importance, Horrible!!!

  Stay away like the plague. If they gave out Gold Medals for incompetence American Dental in Commack would give Michael Phelps a run for his money. I HIGHLY Do Not recommend this practice.

  The worst service and experience I've ever had. Staff is judgemental and flat out nasty, dentist not "qualified" to do routine dental work. Must wait weeks to see the "qualified" dentist who only works Tuesday's. In house "dentist" who can't do a simple root canal prescribed me medication that conflicted with medication I informed him I was on (that he should have known I couldn't take) and when it was brought to his attention he flat out refused to provide me with great correct medication even when I submitted a letter from my primary care doctor. Told me I had been approved for my procedure by my insurance, booked me for procedure, made me wait a total of 4 weeks while in excruciating pain, and when I arrived for my appointment FINIALLY they informed me THAT DAY that I had been in fact DENIED by insurance. They insisted they had called me but they never did, the only call I ever received from the during the month long process was an automated call to CONFIRM MY APPOINTMENT. The unqualified foreign dentist who doesn't not speak intelligible ENGLISH AT ALL let me suffer in pain for weeks and refused me quality of life while they didn't do their jobs and made me feel like I had no right to request relief. The office is dirty and the staff is uneducated and incapable of customer service on the most basic level. STAY AWAY

  I don't understand how a medical place is able to continue to operate like this with out any type of penalization from health inspection agencies of any type!!! This place is dirty and very unsanitary the staff is so rude and some are borderline racist only being accommodating & nice to people of certain races and/or nationalities. The dentist's have no concept of time, they have the staff book numerous people for one appointment which ends up leaving patients waiting for over an hour to be seen. Then when you finally do see the doctor you get someone who is in a foul mood, very impatient, doesn't take the time to actually listen to you. (probably because they're so overbooked and running fromb patient to patient all day!) Being tolerant, helpful & understanding isn't their strong suit, they are very impatient & rude starting from the front desk to the dentists. They deserve 0 (zero) stars

  This place is by far the WORST dentist I have EVER attended. First, the wait was 2 hours. Then, I was only supposed to get my tooth drilled and filled, but the dentist just wanted to pull it straight out. I started arguing with her and told her that I was supposed to get it filled, and she gave me a nasty attitude. I could not stand that lady and I just left and went to a different dentist. And to top it off, the walls, floor, and roof were made very poorly. I actually was convinced that it was made or of cardboard. If you are deciding to come here, I would definitely NOT recommend it. Worst dentist experience I have ever been through. If I could give this place no stars, I would definitely give it 0.
