  The best Coney Dog place in Detroit. Of the two pick American. American has better views and more room. Coneys are awesome, all the food is great, but the views and the people watching is unbeatable here. Tip generously because the food is so reasonably priced.

  Tried a Coney here right after hitting Lafayette. My wife and I were split. She thinks the chili here is better and I gave a slight edge to Lafayette overall but it was certainly delicious and a unique venue! Highly recommend!

  Nice location and atmosphere. Staff was very nice and friendly. Service was fast. Coney dog was ok...skin was a little tougher than I like and sauce a little bland. Fries were also a little on the plain side. I prefer some seasoning in the fries and some kick in the sauce. That may be more of a preference/style though. Still glad we gave it a try.

  Detroit staple, and best coney dog in the world. The dogs have flavor, and a real snap when you bite into them. The chili is a little thicker than next door, and the flavors blend perfectly. As the name grew I was worried about the quality and service, but both are top notch still. Whether you are visiting Detroit or live in the area, American is a must.

  Fantastic as always. Mom has been coming here for 50 years. We won't go anywhere else! Thank you for being in Detroit we couldn't imagine it with out you all. The staff is always awesome, friendly and attentive. Leave a little extra money to pay for a meal for those that need one. Amazing people! A must if your visiting Detroit. You won't be sorry!
