::Decided to try this theater for the first time. Went to the first matinee of the day on a Sunday. Tried the self service kiosks to purchase tickets, but the two in front did not work. Started to wait in line to buy tickets. There were several people waiting and one person working at the ticket booth. Come to find out, there is a separate line for premier members, who are served first. ALL of the premier members have to be served before they will even take people in the regular line! Well, premier members keep showing up, and we have been waiting for 10 minutes. Someone told me about some other self service kiosks around the corner, and luckily they worked. So, now we can finally see the movie. Got in line for popcorn and the same thing happened, one person working the counter and premier members are served first. Ugh! It shouldn't take 25 minutes to get to our seats on a Sunday morning. But wait! Now we have to wait through 25 minutes of previews! I timed it. I know there will always be previews, but this was ridiculous. I won't be going back.

::Good variety of food. The line moved very quickly even though it was a full theater. Clean and well maintained.

::A variety of movies to choose from. Lots of different food items to choose from at the concession stand. I like that you can serve your own beverages, including slurpees. There is a small bar within the lobby of the theaters, although I would imagine the drinks cost just as much as anything else AMC has to offer.

::Pay for the more expensive theaters so you can enjoy amazing reclining seats, unobstructed viewing, and plenty of leg room. You also get to pick your seat which can be very comforting when you consider you don't have to hunt for seats in a crowded theater. tl;dr.: Pay for premium theaters to enjoy the experience more.

::AMC Mission Valley 20 at the Westfield shopping mall is the place to see a movie. It is very clean, has all the usual concession drinks and snacks. The customer service is very helpful and quick to serve at the concession area. The seats are older and just tilt back a little, but they have higher head rests to help you relax and watch the show. The theaters are kept clean, I have never stepped or sat in anything sticky. They have a couple really large screen theaters that make the watching more fun. The other screens are fairly standard in size. If you want to take a break while shopping, then enjoy a show at AMC Mission Valley 20.
