  Great movie theatre barely ever crowded. Extremely neat and clean. Food is overpriced, but I guess that's a given considering it is AMC. I once dropped my keys in there, didn't realize it until I reached home. Went back, hoping it's still there. The wonderful staff were able to grab it for me from where I was sitting during the previous session. So yeah, fantastic neighborhood. Also another plus is, it's right next to five guys. My favorite burger joint.

  The overhaul of this theater to have reserved recliner seats is great. Amc definitely was the first to implement that system in queens and does it well. Unfortunately, I experienced an unfortunate glitch with being double booked for my reserved seats from Atom tickets app which took away from my overall impression of this theater. Between this location of Fresh Meadows, my go to is still fresh meadows.

  Went there to see the new Avengers movie in real 3D, the chairs are super super comfortable. I have not been able to recline so far back, felt that if I had a throw blanket I would be at home. The movie experience was good, sat almost in front but still had a good view.

  Go to another AMC Theater that meets standards. Try AMC Fresh Meadows 7 (which is only a 10 minute drive from this one!) or AMC Roosevelt Field 8 (further but near Roosevelt Field Mall which has endless stores). This theater has a limited food-menu (due to the fact that they don't have the right equipment like a fryer), bad seating angles and it's low-tech. Certain movie projectors will flicker at times, the colors are not calibrated and it's not the AMC standard I've come to know and love. The lack of food options is sad. They have some items from the AMC feature fare but the better options, in my opinion, like chicken and waffle or chicken tenders are not available. The bad seating angles make 'decent' seats into horrific ones. The screens are usually too high compared to other AMC theaters.

  The best move watching experience must contain reclined seat, big screen and medium high audio effect. I would say you can find all here. If there is a movie I want to watch, I will prefer this cinema. However, like reclined seats cinema, there are not much seats available every movie showtime. Ten seats per row, only five to six rows per room. It doesn't matter if you cannot reserve center area seats. Because they have a large screen. I don't recommend first two rows seats, especially the first row. If first row is your only option, pick another showtime. If you try first row seat, you will understand. The best seats should be the last two rows, not the medium row. The last thing I want to say, drive there if you can, because there are only one bus stop Q13. Of course there are 2-3 more option if walking 10 to 15 minutes is not a big issue for you. The parking is free, and there is a big parking lot.
