  When we moved to the neighborhood 14 years ago, the homesellers recommended Almac, and we've never been disappointed. Friendly, knowledgeable service, and though they don't have quite the selection of the Big Box stores, they almost always have what I need.

  Good hardware store for all kinds of hardware needs. Paints and paint-related items. Decorating items. Electrical items. Keys made here.

  Friendly and helpful staff, makes house-calls (I locked myself out of my house once when I was in high school and they were super quick), and they have pretty much everything you'd need. Great, old-timey Brooklyn hardware store. Also they have classic rock playing in small outdoor speakers sometimes. Just one of those nice places, you know?

  Almac is a great local hardware store nearby Ditmas area. Awesome staff and they make house calls for plumbing & more.
