  Stay away from this broker and his employees they are very unprofessional. My Mother has been a loyal client of theirs for more than 10+ years. She had many policies with them auto life etc. I was a driver on her policy and my car was the only car on the policy by the time all of this occurred. I went to a dealership traded in my vehicle and took out my own policy with the same company ALLSTATE but with a different broker. Well when my Mother called the next day they said we needed to provide proof of these changes in order to terminate the policy. We went to their office and i provided my ALLSTATE insurance card as PROOF that i have my own policy and i am with another Broker and they said that was not enough. Never have i heard this before to me this sounds like they wanted to keep that policy open to collect commission. A month later they canceled my Mother's auto policy and sent us to a debt collection agency. Now my Mother's credit score is taking a hit all because they wanted more "proof". I believe if they wanted to they could have done more to see what was right infront of them or better yet a few clicks away on their screen because like i stated before i was still in their network ALLSTATE IS ALLSTATE. They are charging us a monthly premium for a car we no longer own. Thats how Mr. Mercado and his daughter Ms.Figueroa treat long time clients. Disgusting.
