  This orthodontist took x-rays at the beginning of treatment, but missed a very visible (on the x-ray) still-emerging tooth. He proceeded with care by moving emerged teeth and closing the gap. The "missed" tooth caused many problems, weeks of antibiotics, loss of an at-risk tooth, need for oral surgery and the need for a dental implant. The failure of this orthodontist to thoroughly review patient charts makes him a not-so-desirable caregiver. Choose with care.
