  Quick and easy seating for 9 people last minute plans..food was good..kids loved the atmosphere

  Disappointing! Steaks were too salty and not cooked to order. This used to be a really good, well priced steak house. Now it seems to cater to loud, college types--that's the on bright, open bar side. The restaurant side is dim, dingy and noisy from the bar crowd. The best thing about Alexis is the wait staff. Very pleasant people who are quick, efficient and aim to please. Go for the bar scene, if you must, but chose carefully or not at all if you want a good meal.

  I've been here many times and it's always great! I usually start off with the Drunken Mussels, which are to die for!!!! Served with a nice crusty bread to dip in that sauce....heaven! Then I go for the Pub Steak, which is a 10 oz. sirloin (that they are NOT afraid to cook RARE when you ask for it!). Not an ounce of waste on this steak. They have a decent beer menu, both draft and bottles/cans, so you can't go wrong here. The only down-side is that it gets loud by the bar, which carries into the dining area. So, if you're looking for a quiet, romantic dinner, this isn't the place, but otherwise, you'll love it! Very non-pretentious. Just good food and friendly staff. Give it a try!

  Best steak house I have been to so far in Jersey. The Delmonico 24oz is to die for and the sides are incredible. Definitely coming back. Price worth it for the quality of the food!!!!

  Generally I enjoy my visit to Alexus which is between 5 and 10 a year. However when I politely asked if my check was correct, I was given a scowl and spoken to like I was a stupid child that was being looked down on. I'm all about the service. That being said if the food is a little off or if it's busy and you can't get to me as much I understand. But if you're trying and being polite and friendly then expect 20+% tip. I was so disrespected that I intentionally put "$0.00" tip on my check and the next day when I checked my bank card online they had changed it and added a tip. So, if you're into someone stealing from you I would recommend Alexus.
