  The most important quality of any stylist is their ability to listen, and Alex does that better than anyone I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going to him for 4 years, and before my first cut from him, had never been to the same stylist more than twice. I have wavy hair, which is notoriously difficult for most stylists to cut, but Alex does it well every time. He is patient, understanding, and has a very pleasant demeanor. I highly recommend him to anyone.

  Alex is an amazing stylist. His attention to detail is unparalleled. I keep my hair short and I'm very picky, so there's no room for error! A friend of mine referred me to Alex when he was just starting out in DC and I was so happy with my haircut, I proceeded to follow him around the city every professional move he made. That's over 15 years of great haircuts and a true testament to Alex's talent and professionalism!

  Alex is a genius with all hair types. I have thick hair that most professionals have no idea how to cut or style and Alex makes it look amazing every time. Alex has been cutting and styling my hair for nine years and I get so many compliments from colleagues and strangers. The cut is so good I can let my hair grow out and it's still easy to style. Alex also cuts my husband and son's hair with amazing results. We are truly happy with each visit!

  I have tried over 50 stylists/barbers since leaving the military. There has only been four requirements - no gel, no bangs, no hairdryer required, and after a run and a shower it falls into place. For a guy you would think that would be easy (high and tight is not an option). No one in 20 years has been able to meet all four. Alex was able to do it on the first try. He understood exactly what I wanted. I gave him an unruly gray mop and he turned it in an easy maintain, perfect cut. He has another dedicated customer.

  My family has been with Alex for over ten (10) years. He is top of the line. Each time I see him ( beard and hair) I get compliments as to the quality of my hair and beard. Alex is very special, as he also cuts the hair of my daughter, who has a disability. He is patient, and regardless of his busy schedule, he gives her time and attention. She looks magnificent each time he completes his work. He is tops in his field. And a very nice person.
