::My Twin Sister introduced me to The Aldi Grocery Store experience. We drove from Robinson Twp., PA, across the border to Ohio 15 years ago for Thanksgiving dinner supplies and I was amazed what great selections and how much one can save on groceries. I must add the produce is always fresh and parking is free. So grateful for that and also grateful that they've opened many Aldi stores in the Pittsburgh area.

::Good selection. Very reasonably priced merchandise. Great staff with excellent customer service attitude. A pleasure shopping at Aldi.

::Embarrassingly limited selection of products, rude staff, and very anti-semitic (zero kosher for passover products, yet loads of easter stuff). Then I learned the company is owned by a former German Nazi soldier, Theo Albrecht.

::Great fruits and vegetables! Most of their generic products are very good too. I do avoid their beef/poultry/fish, as I haven't had good luck with those. Their prices are excellent. You do have to bag your own products, like the warehouse chains, but definitely worth the savings.

::Reasonably priced food and a decent selection. Its where i spend most of my grocery budget. That said, they need at least a couple more people on hand. There are always carts in the aisles, which are terrible to navigate when it's busy. There are 5+ checkouts, but only 2 seem to ever be open at once. They'll claim it keeps their costs low to be understaffed, but I know that when a manager is busy restocking the shelves, he's not ordering enough produce. That's probably why they were out of spinach last week.
