  I was looking for a dentist for an emergency tooth extraction. No one could fit me in to their schedule being that it was 3:30 p.m. but thankfully Ala Moana Dental Care was open until 8 p.m. The staff and dentist were very friendly, informative and made my visit an ease. Would definitely recommend!!

  Great experience. Friendly, fast service. Thorough and knowledgeable dentists! Dr. Komenaka was wonderful and answered all my questions. Able to get appointment same day for problem and had issue treated promptly.

  During vacation in Hawaii, I broke my veneer in half at 4pm on Sunday. I was panicking since I was an ocean away from home. I went to my insurance website to look for a dentist and saw that Ala Moana Dental was open 7 days a week and until 8pm. I couldn't believe it. I called and they got me in an hour later, on a Sunday! The dentist x-rayed my tooth, repair my veneer and charged me a very fair price. Thank you so much. You saved my mouth and the rest of my vacation.

  ALL the staff are very accommodating. I had an emergency appointment for my mom. They took great care of her. They were also very patient with my 1 year old baby. Josh was so helpful and showed up everywhere

  I called because my young daughter’s tooth was hurting so bad she couldn’t chew on that side. They told me they saw children, and could get her in the same day. That was great! The woman on the phone was super nice, easy to understand and helpful with directions. The office itself is nice. There were courteous and helpful employees when we walked in. They checked us in and she went back for X-rays for her tooth within 15 minutes of arriving. So far everything, is terrific. There are a lot of “open stalls” which makes it seem like herding if you will, but there are a couple doctors so Maybe the space is needed. But again, still clean and they made us feel comfortable. After the doctor looked at her x-ray and tooth, which took about 45 seconds, he said she would need to be referred out to get a cap. Now normally I would not complain about this because I think it’s always better to refer someone out if you’re not comfortable with the procedure. But since this is exactly why I was coming in, and exactly what I told the girl on the phone why I was coming in, it would’ve been nice for someone to communicate to me that they don’t do those kind of procedures at their office. So now I’ve paid for an office visit that took 45 seconds to tell me they can’t help her. That is why I did not give them five stars.
