  They sell fresh halal meat and a large variety of Middle Eastern products. Very nice people, must visit if you live in Ridgewood.

  I discovered this place when I got bit by a dog walking down Gates. It was the nearest store that was open, and the proprietor was very friendly and helpful. He improvised a hot compress for me with paper towels and hot water from the coffee machine. While I was cleaning myself up, I saw the fateer (flaky, oily flatbread, like a giant flat croissant) and knew I had to come back. Sure enough the fateer was amazing. The guy I spoke to recommended heating it up and eating it with honey, but I also like melted cheese and jalapenos. Truly a next-level bread. Get that bread. This place has a lot of great, hard-to-find food items like date cookies and whole cardamom and every kind of frozen pastry you could want. Plus a proper halal butcher counter! Top-notch store, good people.

  Great variety of Middle Eastern grocery staples in small family-run store, very good prices. Has decent refrigerated grocery section with halal counter in back. Opens early and closes late 7 days a week.
