::I’ve been going to Al-Amir for over 20 years! Hands down the best hummus, food and customer service in Portland. Always consistent and my “go to” whenever I’m hosting out of town visitors!

::What a wonderful place for delicious Lebanese food! Our party of six ate. Family style and it was perfect.

::One of the best kept secrets downtown. Great Lebanese food at affordable prices. The lamb shoarma plate is outstanding. I also love their tasty meatballs in a delicate spicy tomatoe sauce. The service is good here. They are quick and efficient at taking the order and providing food and drink. This is old school Portland. They have been around for a long time.

::We have been going here occasionally for about 30 years. The service has always been exceptional. We stopped in recently for the first time in a couple years (we don't live in Portland anymore), and I was very glad to see that nothing seems to have changed. They serve up the usual spread of middle eastern food, well prepared and comparable to the best to be had in Portland - a very high bar. The one weakness is that the pita is nothing special: this time, at least, it was room temp and a little dried out.

::Amazing. Moe is all about giving each customer friendly service. He does it all even before you ask. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Such a fun place. We had a little of everything on the menu. You really can’t go wrong. This is a great place for an intimate date or a company party. Honestly this is the best Lebanese food I have had. Had a blast with my friends!
