  I was with my friend when he ordered a drink. We were just sharing the drink at the table chilling for 15 mins when the girl behind the counter came over and asked if I wanted a drink. I had a rough day and assumed the worse intentions. I apologize for the earlier comment. I really appreciate the owner’s respectful and appropriate comment below. Will definitely come back! The coffee is the best around the area or if you want a quiet spot to chill and relax. :)

  A little hard to see from the street but this is a GREAT place. Really cute store, and top of the line espresso! A new favorite in NYC :) Update: I just realized my review was not complete, for the past year I have been quoting this place as my favorite espresso I have ever had.

  Lovely little underground coffee shop with very nice staff and feel-right-at-home decor. The staff is very friendly and the food I've only sampled but is pretty spectacular (see attached pic of the Mariah open faced sandwich). Relaxed vibe, free WiFi and a good place to work, read or catch up with a friend.

  This might be the best coffee in NYC. The vibe created by the owner & baristas is a of true neighborhood hangout where face2face conversations happen with strangers soon to be friends. More plz!

  This is the cutest coffee shop in the village. I love the unique vintage and new furniture and decor, it's so cozy. I've been going several times a week. Love the food and drinks. Keet (the owner) makes delicious sandwiches. I'm becoming a regular and love seeing others that frequent the store.
