  Got something quickly mixed fruits and a chicken and both were not good fruit rotten and chicken really bad

  It was an A&P and is now an Acme. I find it to be fine for groceries. I do wish they had more open registers and express lines. I will go to this Acme again

  This acme is very nice, not messy, great location and hours for us local people. Always have everything needed. No need to complain about the employees management they do a fine job. I am especially greatful hours, us working parents appreciate it.

  My first time visiting ACME in Scarsdale I was not only racially profiled but hart broken. Me and my spouse went to go food shopping before the blizzard we were given a unsettle and uncomfortable stare by a older African American woman. When I went to the customer service dest for money orders the same woman stared at me uncomfortably once again. When I asked for a money order to pay my rent she immediately said we only take cash. I explained to her that I would be paying with my debit card and that was a form of cash. The woman continued to go on about ACME only taking cash for money orders and how that was policy. I expressed to her that I had been coming to ACME for over a year and purchasing money orders with my debit card. The woman stared at me and said well all other Acmes are not following policy and I cant take your debit card. I then realized that I was being racially profiled from this woman since the moment i entered the store. I called corporate and made a formal complaint I was told there is no such policy. This needs to stop its very sad that in 2018 this still goes on. No one should have to experience what I felt especially coming from another person of color. Besides this complaint what I will do is pray that God will soften her heart.

  This Acme happens to be nicer than any of the other Acme's that took over Food Emporium or Shopwell. I was very pleased with the freshness of the produce and the way the store is merchandised. Plenty of express lanes and plenty of parking. I'll definitely be back when I need a trip to the supermarket. The store sure does beat ShopRite on Central.
