  When I struggle to find whatever I need, the staff is always there to help. It's service with a smile even when they are asked odd questions about products. I Love this particular ace mart and appreciate their employees.

  Disclaimer: I am reviewing as a private individual and do not represent any restaurant. My conception of restaurant supply stores always used to be that they had just about anything that might be of use to either a home chef or a restaurateur at very low prices. I was disabused of both notions quite quickly. On my first visit to Ace Mart I became aware of their woefully small selection of cookware. Just about everything is aluminum and there is essentially no variation apart from size. I was looking for a saucier, but all they could direct me to was the woks. This was my second visit and I was wanting a wire strainer. I found something like what I wanted marked as fry baskets, but they had no strainers at all marked as such. It was all colanders. And the "fry basket" that I ended up purchasing cost almost double what I had hoped to pay. Some things are priced right, including the colanders, but I needed a wire strainer for a gift. I can still recommend Ace Mart for certain things. The half sheet pans are ridiculously cheap, and they have every size of disher, and lots of servingware. But anything the least bit unusual they are unlikely to have, and the pricing is hit-or-miss.
