  Coming to the Ace store on Country Club Rd., in Tucson, is a breath of fresh air. When you walk in you don't have to wait for help. They're friendly, know their products, and are genuinely helpful. And sincere. They even give my dog a biscuit, sometimes. This reminds me of 1950's hardware stores--small, cozy, friendly, relaxing, upbeat. It's sort of the opposite of Ho** De***.

  I use Ace whenever I can – yeah, they don’t have the floor space and selection of the big box stores and they cost a bit more but they do some things the big guys don’t and their staff is way more attentive and helpful. In particular they have very reasonably priced re screening or making new screens to match for you – I use this all the time as we have a number of rentals around town. Also if you have single pane windows, they’ll re-glaze them and/or fix the seals in them for a very reasonable price, usually same day. Very handy for those “we don’t know what happened, the window just exploded on its own” tenant moments and a fraction of the cost of having a window place come out.

  The employees are so helpful. They give great advice and suggestions. The lady a few minutes ago helped me save over $10 by suggesting an idea I hadn't thought of, and she took me straight to the materials I needed. I've used this Ace Hardware for years. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

  Plenty of service and good variety. Store is setup in a straight forward manner, such that there is great ease in finding what one seeks.

  This ACE was very easy to do find what I needed. As I walked in, I was greeted cordially and helped right away. I will be back when in the area and need anything hardware. Also, it was greatly larger with big wide isles than imagined by the outside of the building. I Highly Recommend this ACE. Thanks for being close enough that I can get there easily and for having plenty of parking.
