  Peter at Acadia has a tremendous amount of knowledge and a patient demeanour that allows your project to end up the way you envisioned it. From drawings to production and delivery I couldn't have imagined of a faster turn around time. They produced a single spine stair with cantilevered white oak treads in record time considering the construction standard of making you wait! I recommend Peter and his team very highly.

  My husband and I purchased steel stringers from Todd for our home. We have never installed or ordered stairs before and required a good deal of background information and education from Todd before we could even determine if his product was appropriate for our home. Todd answered our questions patiently and was generous with his time. He even provided SEVERAL drawings as we thought through what we wanted and made changes - sometimes multiple a day. He never complained that he was too busy and when we didn't understand something, he amended drawings with arrows, labels, and extra descriptions. We had no idea there was so much to consider when purchasing stairs! The stringers arrived sooner than promised and look beautiful. Once they had arrived, Todd advised on how best to install them as we were doing the work ourselves. We are very happy with Acadia's services and would recommend them to friends without hesitation.

  We have experienced delays after delays on promises to get back on shop drawings and deliver the stairs. While we like Todd and think he's a really personable guy, we are now over 6 weeks late and this has impacted our construction delivery. We're going to give them one more chance to get this right before we take this to court.
