  Horrible just Horrible the kindergarterns get way to much homework and are expected to get it in one week and they are expected to know multiplication at a very young age the curriculum is stupid and Mrs reigert is an asshat

  No use getting to know teachers or staff because they'll be fired the next week. Dedicated teachers and amazing secretaries are constantly being replaced with people who don't care, majority of them aren't even teachers! The principal never shows up to the school and kids run around with no order. Classrooms are too small and curriculum isn't being taught well. Holes all over the building and bathrooms never work. Children aren't even reprimanded for wearing the wrong uniforms. Everything's crazy, and just wait till you see the 42 paged homework packets, their due the very next day.

  Great students.. Great teachers. Horrible administration and their director Mr. Riegert does not use due process as required by law. Mr. Riegert doesn't return phone calls or e-mail. He hazes employees and then when they call him on it he gets rid of you.

  My daughter thrives! Yes it is a lot of homework, but we have made it a routine to do it every day at the same time, and what used to take her almost 2 hrs... now takes her 45 mn if that. The School is new and nice, and teachers seem to be very pleasant as well. My daughter loves her teacher, and can't wait to give her a hug in the morning. Every day she comes home to tell me what did she learn that day.. and at Kindergarten, she already knows the scientific method, her first presidents, etc... Incorporating the homework into the daily routine became very easy after a week or so... In the end I would much rather sacrifice a bit of my personal time to sit with her and help her do the homework, than put her in a school that does not have such a high demand. Lastly, if you need to contact anybody about the homework, or any other issues,.. you can e-mail the teacher or the principle and get an answer almost right away.So far I love it, we will see towards the end of the year though :)

  Terrible! Here are a couple of reasons. First, they have a policy that if a student misses to turn in one home work package, they are punish by not going on a field trips. I've seen their home work package. Just in the math section alone I counted 96 math problems. Also, the teacher indicated that in order to be satisfactory homework students have to complete 75% or better. For a struggling student that is a lot of additional and overwhelming. It would take many hours of work after school to complete it. I'm not against home work if it's reasonable. Who would like their child spend 7 hours in school and spend another 2 or more hours doing math problems every day at home? I feel that some teachers just want kids to be busy without realizing that they are really not helping the student. The second reason is that the material that the students get to complete the homework is inadequate. It does not help them figure out finish the homework. The package does not include 'how to' examples and rules to follow and complete the homework. Additionally, If a parent wants to help their child, how can the parent and student figure the homework? If the student is to solve equations problems or fraction problems the instructions should indicate how to accomplish this task. In looking at their homework package, they don't provide detail examples and instruction on how to do it. The teacher should be able to provide all the necessary tools and instructions for the kids to figure out the homework. All they provide is many problems listed on several pages. They need to provide all the necessary information that the students and or parents need so that they can refer to it and go over if needed.
