::I love coming to Academy Bank on Stapleton inside Walmart. I can shop and deposit money into my account all in one trip. The manager Alfredo is very professional and welcoming to all customers. Yesterday, I left a bag on the counter and Melissa turned it in for me. The manager Alfredo made sure my bag was located. They are the truth!!! Squad Academy Bank😎. Thanks guys for going above and beyond and for always having excellent customer service. You rock!!!

::How is it the Walmart money serves is faster and kinder then y'all?? Trying to cash my paycheck and NOBODY is behind the counter. Won't be coming back!

::Very "can't do" attitude at this bank. Its not my fault you work in a Walmart, don't take it out on me. If you're going here expect long lines, no sense of urgency with the employees and ultimately they believe in self-service > customer-service. I'm assuming the manager must feel pretty secure in his job because he does what ever the hell he wants and sexually harasses female customers.

::I am writing this review with the goal of better transparence between this bank and their consumers. Today, I stopped by a local branch to over-draft my account (borrow $150) due to having experienced an emergency earlier in the month. I am paid through my employer on a monthly basis and needed the additional $150 to purchase gas for my vehicle as well as food; enough to last me until my next pay period. I was told that I had "zero over-draft protection" from the clerk; and was instructed to contact consumer service for additional clarification. After speaking to a supervisor (Justin) I was horrified with his response. He noted, "a computer software program is in control of allocating over-draft protection." He continues to state, "it uses a complex method of variables to calculate if someone is eligible to borrow against their direct deposit (which is $2,400 a month for myself). Justin was very resistant towards providing any specific information about this alleged program or the "variables" used in its calculation to determine if someone is "credit worthy," to receive additional funds in cases of an emergency. To provide context, I have been a customer of this bank for roughly five years and never encountered an issues with their services. However, I can confirm that after my horrible interaction with this bank's customer service department today; I am debating if I should close all of my accounts and take my business elsewhere. I am considerably disappointed with the direction of this banks consumer policies. My advice to anyone looking to begin a relationship with a finical intuition, "DO NOT BANK WITH ACADEMY BANK OF COLORADO OR ANY OF IT'S subsidiaries (ARMED FORCES BANK, ETC.)."
