  I'm a bookkeeper and my customer has been using Abramowitz & Cohen for his business. It's been easy and smooth for me to work with the Abramowitz and Cohen staff; they are very responsive and they have been providing me with excellent service. They also know all the tax codes in and out, which benefits my work immensely.

  I can't even tell you what the firm is like, other than the fact that they employ extremely rude individuals, who have no idea the services they actually offer, and have them answer the phones. I have no idea whom I spoke with, because she didn't even bother to give me her name. I can assume she was the receptionist. When she answered the phone, all she said was, "accounting". I explained to her that I was calling on behalf of a client seeking forensic auditing and told her a bit about the situation. During the entirety of our conversation, she alternated between clipped tones and flat out rude. Their website has a whole page specifically listing forensic auditing as one of their services, but she claimed she had no idea what I meant or what I was calling for. Even after I told her it was on the site. After berating me, she eventually put me on hold. She came back and asked for my contact info. I said, "do you offer these services?" To which she said, "someone will be contacting you. Actually I shouldn't even say that." Having had enough, I thanked her for her time and told her I would be taking our services elsewhere. Before I could get in another word, she hung up. If you can't answer phones and treat people politely and with respect, then find another job. This firm lost a client, and I was able to find a much more professional firm who took my call and immediately scheduled a consultation, with a couple of clicks.

  I've been using Jack Cohen CPA services for over 10 years. Jack and his employees have always been there for me. I'm really happy with the relationship that we have and I wouldn't consider another CPA. A+++
