::NASTY, NASTY, I had to hit 1 star in order to leave a review. I dropped my car off for an inspection, ABEL called my daughter and told her she needed to replace the license plate light bulb, so my daughter called me to ask if Abel can go ahead and do that, because I was the one paying for it. I called Abel myself to ask about this bulb, because I have never heard of it, so I asked him if it needs to be working to pass inspection? and he screamed at me and said I BEEN DOING THIS FOR 35 YEARS AND IM TELLING YOU, YOU NEED TO REPLACE IT, I said I only asked you because I never knew that and wanted to be educated in it. I said how much will it cost to replace it, again screaming at me said I DONT KNOW I HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT FIRST, so I said I need to call my husband and tell him so he can pay for it, HE SCREAMED AT ME AGAIN AND SAID I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS , YOUR CAR IS FAILED, COME PICK IT UP AND YOU OWE ME $21.00 DOLLARS AND HUNG UP ON ME. I told my husband about all of this and he went to his shop because he given him a lot of business and He told my husband none of what your wife said is true. ABEL SHAME ON YOU FOR TREATING A CUSTOMER LIKE THAT, SHAME ON YOU FOR BEING SO NASTY TO A CUSTOMER AND SHAME ON YOU IF YOU CANT HAVE THE DECENCY TO APOLIGIZED FOR SCREAMING AT ME LIKE I JUST SHUT DOWN YOUR SHOP FOREVER. I DID NOT DESERVE THIS KIND OF TREATMENT.

::I’ve been going to Albels for years. I have had work done on my mothers, fathers, and my car. I called this morning just to see if they could take my car in for an inspection. Now before you scoff I know it’s the 31st but like many others I work during the day and this was one of the only times I could bring it. I was confused when a women named Kathy picked up the phone because it’s usually mike....I found out he’s no longer there along with his up beat attitude and willingness to help the customers. As me and the clerk were conversing about possibly needing an O2 sensor I said yea I’m just trying to give someone money. The clerk Kathy got super offended and immediately got nasty talking down to me like I was worthless saying well who’s fault is it...are you saying I don’t want your money yelling at me....so I laughed and said wow didn’t mean to offend you but the whole interaction soured me to the point of me taking the time to write this review. Customer interaction is key for these business to thrive. I immediately called north road auto and was met with respect. It’s not that hard to respect the customer and actually make them want to bring in their vehicle and spend hundreds of dollars that we all work for. DON’T go to Abel’s shop around they won’t treat you with respect I Never write reviews but that interaction burned me I don’t care how busy you are don’t be nasty to the customer

::Unfortunately, this place is under the old management again. Went to visit and found only Abel. Mike and his crew were let go right before Christmas because they would not charge the astronomical prices Abel is used to charging his customers. I will not be returning to have my vehicles fixed here and I hope I can find Mike and his team again. They were always very honest and accurate. What a shame...

::HONEST & FAIR!! A few of the most important people you need to know is a good hairdresser, a honest priest, and a great mechanic. I have been bringing my car to Ryan for a few years now, a good friend of mine referred me to see him awhile back when he was working with a different shop. Through the years I've followed where ever he has moved where he is working, and during that time I also had the pleasure of meeting Mike, the manager at Abel's. Mike has always been super helpful whenever I'm in need to get my car in as soon as possible & given me great prices on parts/labor, which also is LIFE TIME GUARANTEED. If for some reason the car might have a problem, they will go ahead and fix the problem and will NOT try to hassle me or give me some bogus reason I don't understand for why I need to be spending more money (LIKE HOW OTHER SHOPS HAVE DONE TO ME) I have no clue what I would do without these guys! Thank you Mike & Ryan for always being great & honest people. :) :)
