  my 2010 had some work at an AAMCO near my home over 6 months ago. when my car broke down recently because of the symptoms i thought it may have been the transmission. Long story short the original AAMCO was no longer in business with no forwarding information. I contacted Amityville AAMCO and Anthony no only helped get me off of the dangerous road i was stuck on , he researched to find out if i was still under warranty. Turns out if was not my transmission . Anthony found the problem, explained it clearly and the work was done. I got follow ups the entire time my car was in their care. I was so pleased that when my sister's car broke down they were the first and only people i referred her to and she was pleased as well. Communication is the key.

  Excellent service. They are very knowledgeable and reliable. Everyone in my family brings their cars here for maintenance and repairs (trouble codes, water pump, etc.) A+

  Called Anthony at AAMCO about an issue I was feeling in my car. They checked it out, couldn't replicate the problem but told me I could call and come back as soon as I feel the same issue. The mechanic Fransisco took the time to explain what they did with my car to try and locate the problem. I was very happy with how Anthony explained everything to me and tried to resolve my issue.

  My transmission started slipping. I had this place recommended by my usual car place (that doesn't service transmissions). Anthony was able to get me in the same day I called. They determined what the problem was and offered my multiple repair options. They also found a few issues that would become problems and offered options for repair. They were able to fix my car and got me back up and running. I was very satisfied with their service.

  It was a great experience. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Anthony was the best, he took the time to explain every little detail. He treated me like family.
