  I can't say enough good things about AAMCAR Car Rental! I have been renting from these guys for over 15 years. They have the cheapest car rentals in NYC, hand down! Their cars are perfectly fine for city and long drives and the staff at their 181st street location are amazingly nice! They have all my info on file at the office, so renting a car (literally) takes me 6 minutes. They ALWAYS go outside with you and double check that the car isn't damaged before hand, which I always appreciate. They offer EZ Pass for $3.95 a day and they also are located inside a parking garage, so you can drop the car off at the 181st street location 24 hours a day. Can't say enough good stuff about this place. Totally legit affordable car rental for New York City.

  Love these guys! Both this place & the other branch at 96th St. It's the "best kept secret" in NYC. So pleasant & easy to deal with. Rates are great. Won't rent from anyone else in NYC.

  Decent rental prices and helpful people. Staffed garage to return cars is open 24 hours.
