  Can only give one star right now since nothing has been done yet. Having outside draining issues. They called left message. We called back several times leaving messages, no call back until following week, where the employee said they would text us when they can come out. *crickets chirping* Over 3 weeks have gone by now with us still trying to call with never someone picking up and us leaving messages to which don't get replied to. So much for plumbing emergencies here... Will update review if we ever get service done. Thanks.

  2 back-to-back no shows. The first they said the truck broke down, the second they said the job wasn't big enough but if I added another service they could re-schedule. I have several houses in San Antonio and I typically only use Roto-Rooter but decided to try a small local company this time around. Guess I'll stick with what works best.

  A-Tex Plumbing was great from start to finish! They had great prices in comparison to other companies, friendly service over the phone and in person and they fixed my issue the same day! Definitely recommend.

  Called A-Tex Plumbing this morning because the water in my bathroom sink had stopped flowing. The tech called me back in a timely manner and gave me really great troubleshooting advice. The problem is with my softener system. The softener caused a resin build up in the piping which caused the bathroom faucet to become blocked and no long run water. I was told to turn the bypass valves on which stops the water from running through the softener system. I was told this was due to the softener being bad and that it needed to be replaced. After calling the softener company, I was informed that it could be fixed and a new system was not necessary. I am giving a 4 star rating because on the high end I was pleased with the customer service and the advice the tech gave me. On the low end I did not like having to worry about completely replacing my softener system considering it is only 3 years old. I would definitely call this company again for their plumbing advice.

  I called A-Tex to come check out my hot water heater that just wasn't working the way it used to. They were great on the phone, came out the same day and were even on time. After inspecting it he gave me several options to repair or replace it. He ended up making me a great deal to replace the hot water heater and install a water softener system to help the water heater and the other appliances in our home last longer, plus, my wife had always wanted one. I did check around and they really gave us a great price...and finished it all the same day. I will definitely use A-Tex again if I need an honest plumber.
