  I have known and been working professionally with Barbara Feldman and A Nu Start NY since 2007. At that time I worked for a Senior Living property and Barbara’s company helped many seniors downsize and relocate to our community. Her personal integrity and compassion was noted and appreciated by her many satisfied customers who would then recommend Barbara to their friends and family. In 2011, I personally used A Nu Start NY to relocate myself and my family and again found her company’s professionalism beyond reproach. I continue to recommend Barbara’s firm to clients and friends who are stressed and overwhelmed by the task at hand, how to move their senior loved one from their home of 40 or more years into a small senior living apartment. Professionalism, courtesy, and a caring demeanor with her senior clients are what sets A Nu Start NY and Barbara Feldman apart.

  I referred a family to A Nu Start NY a few weeks ago. Last evening I received a phone call from that family that they googled the company and it had one bad review. I looked at the review. I am shocked and very surprised that this was the encounter this person had with A Nu Start NY. I used their services in 2007 and could not have been more impressed with their knowledge, kindness and efficiency. Since then I have recommended Barbara Feldman, owner of A Nu Start NY to many other families who have had nothing but the most wonderful things to say. Ms. Feldman is well respected in the senior community and shares her knowledge and expertise at live and radio events. The negative comment posted is quite harsh and not in line with the services that I have seen this company provide. I highly recommend A Nu Start NY.

  Barbara is the queen of moving! She is patient, organized, kind and full of knowledge to help ease the process emotionally and tangibly. The negative review here is questionable, as everyone in the Tri-state area raves about Barbara in the same way I have. Whether it's a grandparent or parent that is in need of a move at an elderly age, Barbara and her wonderful staff will take care of you (and the family members!) with love and care!!

  Run from this woman who owns this company, Barbara. She left the job of an 89 year old woman in the midst of it and disappeared for the entire 3 days of the move. Never returned calls. Left her family to pack up a 3000 sq foot home on the day of the move.
