  I went to this 99 cent store on Monday Feb 19th. When I was at the register, the cashier asked if I needed a bag. I said: yes they are 10 cents, right? ... she said "no, they are 25 cents, but these are better than the other ones". well..I think is ridiculous that a 99 cent store has plastic bags that are so expensive. 25 cents is not a lot of money, but it is for a plastic bag. The cashier didn't say if they were just running out of them or if they don't carry them at all. people go to this store trying to save money and then they make you pay so much for a plastic bag..and I say "they make you" because if you don't come prepared with a bag from home, most likely you are gonna have to pay the 25 cents or walk out with a bunch of items in your hands.. I guess it is a good business to sell their "better" bags for 25 cents instead of the ones for 10 cents. Sketchy.

  Many bargains and some food merchandise not found at other grocery stores. Be observant of freshness of produce and price. Some items may be marked 2 for $.99, $1.99 or $2.99. Many seasonal items prior to holidays with better prices than at other stores. Aisles are bright and wide, but checkout lines can get long at times. No returns without receipt, or on food items, and no rainchecks.
