They had all the fruits and vegetables that I needed. Store was clean and it was a fast checkout.

I reviewed the 99 Cents Only Store in Wilmington awhile back and thought I would see how this one on Long Beach Blvd compares. Firstly, this store has the advantage of being a larger store so the selection is greater. Not necessarily better, just greater. The store was crowded on the Saturday afternoon I was there. But the shelves and floors were clean and I didn't find peanut butter in the shampoo aisle as can happen at 99 Cents Stores of all types. This store had 1/2 and 1/2 - not the fat free version but from a name brand dairy. It was only 1.99 for a quart. Down the street its 2.79 for the same product. So of course I bought more than I intended using the rationale that made the founder millions ("it's only 99 cents). I appreciated that the lines were very long and the checker was friendly and efficient. All in all, I'm glad to have visited this store. You can get an awful lot of things that you really don't need for a very low price.

Cashiers vs. Customer dispute really held up the line and there were only two checkstands with long wait times open until finally somebody decided to open a third. Still has a decent selection but the outside of the store always looks rough. Easily not one of the better 99cent stores I have been to.

They have everything (fresh produce, drinks, frozen foods, snacks, kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, bath products, mailing supplies, school supplies, and more). And it's 99 cents per item, or even less for bundles. I highly recommend this store!

I really like the store itself, it is always stoked with a lot of produce and also has good snack foods, hygiene, misc.items but the lines are ALWAYS LONG ALWAYS..!!.. So much so I had to knock off two stars... Regardless the time, day, morning or evening the lines are long... It's unfortunate otherwise the store is great..
