As the person being criticized in the review by Jean G I feel I must respond to her criticism. First, I was not aware the chili/cheese machine was broken until she brought it to my attention, at which time she was opening the machine and violating health code policy. I pointed this out and informed her that I would check the machine as soon as I was finished helping a customer. She continued to try to get chili and cheese from the bags inside and I again told her she could not do this and I would be there in a moment to check on it. Second, when I checked the machine I discovered that the plug had been damaged and it was not reported to me. I attempted to fix the plug but was unable to do so. When I informed Jean G of the issue she demanded a refund for her hot dog because she couldn't get chili and cheese on it. Third, I informed her I could not refund her because it was not our store policy as it was explained to me by management. The hot dog was sold as is and the availability of condiments for the hot dogs varied and was not a prerequisite for selling the hot dog. Jean G then accused myself and the store of stealing from her and threatened to call the police. She also demanded the store managers and/or store owners phone numbers. When I told her I could not give her these private numbers she again threatened to call the police and demanded a refund. I again informed her that the payment for the hot dog was not predicated on the availability of condiments and if she wished to call the police regarding this she was free to do so. Fourth, she then started to complain to my co-worker regarding what was occurring and he told her the same response that I had regarding the availability of condiments and that we could not refund her purchase. Fifth, Jean G then loudly and rudely railed against myself and store management. She then stated she would never shop at this location again and left her hot dog and pizza slice behind saying she wanted nothing from us. While I would have preferred to give Jean G a refund I was required to follow store policy as it was stated to me. I attempted to remain courteous and polite to her throughout this incident, and she did likewise. And I would also like to note that I agree with her assessment that proper training and management are not provided to the employees at this store. As of this review I have resigned from my job at this store for these very reasons. I would like to apologize to Jean G for the above incident and hope she can understand the position I was in at the time.

This is a horrible, horrible store. I have been a loyal customer for 15 years with 7-eleven & this store has the worst employees ever to work for 7-eleven. Mark, sales associate, robbed me of my money. He refused to refund me or exchange my food for his incompetence. He knew the chili & cheese machine did not work & did not say or put a sign that it was broken. I ONLY buy my hot dog from 7-eleven & nowhere else for 15 years. I know that 7-eleven do not treat their customers with disrespect, but Mark lied about their refusal exchange or at least be accommodating to keep their cuatomers happy specially a loyal customer of 15 years. Do Not Ever Purchase Anything From This Store unless Mark gets the proper training or desciplinary action for his incompetence. I do not care for the hot dog, but I value principle. He has the audacity to lie cold-heartedly in front of my face on Christmas! Shame on him!!
