I went in to get my daily cup of coffee. First time being at this 7-eleven. I made my cup and my coffee tasted like water. I told the employee and asked if he could make a fresh pot. He gave me some story about these three type don't go out after 11am and said no to making a fresh pot. Bad business.

Walked in, in the mood for Chicken tenders. Sign in front of the Chicken tenders says $1.29 Each, 3 for $3.29. I order 3. Man at register tells me $3.89 please. I say "$3.89? They are 3 for $3.29" He says "Yes, plus tax." I tell him "It's 8.875% tax in NYC not 18%, how did you get to $3.89?, It should be about 30 cents tax on $3.29 not 60 cents tax". He calls out his boss. She comes & shows me the receipt. Receipt says reg price. $3.87 at 3 pcs., minus $3.58, save 29 cents, plus tax 31 cents, $3.89. I explain to the lady that the receipt is charging tax twice on the 3 tenders. I told her that $3.29 with tax is $3.58, then the receipt shows that's it's charging tax again on the $3.58 to $3.89. She said no it only charges it once & it's impossible for the machine to do that. I told her the sign say $3.29 for 3 Chicken Tenders, $3 at 8.875% tax is 27 cents, 29 cents at 8.875% tax is 2 cents, 27+2 = 29 cents. 29 Cents + $3.29 = $3.58. She then tells me that the chicken tenders are not 3 for $3.29 anymore & that 3 are $3.58. LOL. I asked her from where did she arrive to the number of $3.58 then. She then tells the cashier to give me the 30 cents & tells me to go report her to the consumer affairs in a very condescending way. She basically didn't want to hear the little math lesson, to find out that they programmed their cash register to already include tax when buying multiple chicken tenders in the initial item scan, but no tax included when you buy them individually on the initial item scan. In all likelihood this is an error throughout all 7/11's because of improper programming of cash registers of these chicken tenders. The lady manager came out & yelled at me, while I was waiting for the 30 cents, "Take $3 & get out of my store". I told her to fix her register & I didn't come to her store for Free stuff, but I didn't come in to get charged 18% tax either, giving back her money.

I waited in line at this specific 7-11 with about 3 people ahead of me and 3 behind me. I got up to the register and requested taquitos, and instead of her just going and grabbing my food which mind you all she had to do was literilly grab it and bring it to me since it is already cooked, so i can pay and leave since it was my turn to be served, instead she told me to step aside and wait so she can take take the other 3 people that were behind me. So of course i said what was the point of me being in line. Was i supposed to wait for the entire store to be empty in order for her to serve me.? According to her yes. She said i dont want to make them wait while i get your food. Like really ? The food is already cooked and was inches away from her to just grab and pass to me. I could understand if it needed to be cooked and i had to wait. Thats totally understandable, but at a place like this its you serve whoever is next in line duh. 7-11 is usually great but this 7-11 has to teach this girl what next in line means cause she doesnt have a clue.
