::KEEP IN MIND THERE IS TRANFERS TO THE R TRAIN ALONGSIDE THE F AND G HERE MANY STAIRS, NO ELEVATOR, NOT DISABILITY FRIENDLY AT ALL! Some food trucks outside the station.

::nothing special, sometimes the "F" train does not stop

::As far as subway stops go, 4th Ave 9th Street isn't so bad. You can hear the different between the F and G train approaching out of the northbound tunnel, so you know when you have to run up the stairs or not. Having the choice of F or R for heading into Manhattan is convenient, as well as being able to head straight up to Atlantic Ave/Terminal; options are nice. However, something has to be done about the homeless standing around the turnstiles on the Manhattan bound R side entrance. Every morning it smells like an outhouse and it's obvious where their "business" has been conducted.

::G train stops at the middle to end of the platform, missed one cuz I was at the beginning of it, any warnings pls?!?!

::I swear I can hear the difference between the F and the G train approach so I know when I have to race up the steps. As far as subway stations go I'm pretty happy with this one. Connection to R underground. Sheltered platform. Two thumbs up.
