  I have lived here since January. This place seems really nice, & I thought moving back to Omaha and living downtown was going to be amazing. For the first 6 weeks we lived here, I didn't even have a key fob that worked to take my dog outside. So in order to take my dog outside to do her business, I had to climb over my icy fence several times a day. I had to check back into the office once a week before one of the employees that wasn't involved felt bad and gave me his. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, and somehow my electric bill is between $175-375 every month. Every one of the surrounding apartments that I've spoken to aren't even paying half of our lowest price. I have told the office several times that there's an issue, either with the electrical wiring or insulation, and so they put in a new thermostat. It's several years older than the first one I had, and it did nothing to help. That was two months ago. No one has even called me to check to see if it helped. They said they were going to come drill holes in the walls and check the insulation a couple days after they put the thermostat in... And like I said, it's been two months. The woman in the office, Kelly, told me that "she's not actually obligated to do anything to fix it" and has been nothing but rude to me since I told her what was going on. When I addressed the issue to her directly on May 24th, she came to my apartment to pick up my OPPD bills that I printed for her so she could see proof. She denied the existence of my problem, although all the neighbors were friends with the tenant before us, and said he had a dispute with the office regarding the same exact issue. Kelly's logic was that "she thought our apartment was cold" like somehow because she thinks it's cold in our apartment, that excuses the fact that we're paying double for our electricity. And not only that, but our master bedroom and bathroom only retain about 50% of the air before something, perhaps no insulation, sucks it out of the room. I have had to sleep with two fans on me for the past 3 months just to keep from waking up in my sleep sweating. I also made Kelly aware during her trip to my apartment that we have several really bad cracks in the corners of our apartment all the way up and down the walls. Kelly stated that, "this apartment building was finished at least 6 months too soon. These things happen." And when I mentioned that comment in passing while the maintenance guy came to look, she completely denied saying that. Why, I have no idea. But she couldn't have been more rude and argumentative. (I had mentioned all these things to the consultant that leased us our apartment, but supposedly she never passed them on to management..) Also, for some reason, we have a flock of pigeons that has nested directly above our balcony door, so there's bird poop everywhere on our porch. Our balcony is connected to the dog park, and since they come spray that down all the time, my boyfriend went out and asked them one day if they minded spraying the bird poop off our porch real quick. (It's REALLY bad) They refused, and said we'd have to do it ourselves because it's our porch and our responsibility. I refuse to even get patio furniture because there's no point in leaving anything out there with the birds there, and no one will do anything about the birds. We talked about moving to a different apartment in the complex that's a one-bedroom, but there's no way in hell I'm signing anther lease with this company. I am so unbelievably disappointed in this entire experience, and I really couldn't be more upset about it. The only good thing about this complex is the neighbors. I came back to Omaha to be closer to my family and friends, and my apartment that is costing me almost $1,600/month is making me absolutely miserable. And no one will help me. Whatever you do, stay away from this place, and quite frankly- all Seldin properties. If Kelly is allowed to treat the people at this property this way and get away with it, then they de probably all are. Stay far, far away!!!!!

  I don't personally live here but a close friend of mine does. Everything in the building looks brand new. Even the smaller apartments have the appearance of being put together with quality materials. Short walking distance from the downtown scene and CenturyLink Center. Recently though the down town scene has been kinda lame. Lots of out of towners
