  Love this studio. I am not intimated when I go (and sometimes larger studios have that feeling). Classes are intimate and it is more about the students during each class rather than an hour of straight yoga. There is always dialog between students and the instructor.

  Zen Gen has something for everyone, including the kids. The candlelight slow flow class is a must for those looking to unwind after a long day.

I have had the pleasure of acquainting myself with this studio in its opening months. Its outstanding attributes extend to numerous aspects of a desirable yoga practice. Owner Brandi Hayes-Fink is the paramount component that sets Zen Gen apart from any other studio I have encountered in my 10 years of practice. Hayes-Fink, a young entrepreneur and yoga practitioner, has tailored her studio to meet the needs of every student. By employing talented staff, offering numerous class types and styles, and modeling exceptional levels of knowledge and support for her students, she has created the intergenerational zen experience for yogis and entirely lives up to the name of her studio. Upon entering the studio, you will find yourself greeted by friendly staff who radiate optimistic kindness. The studio itself is housed in an old home with beautiful charm and elegance. The interior immediately brings out a sense of calm as you roll out your mat on beautiful wood floors. Aesthetic touches such as plants and yogic statues help center you. Zen Gen offers the use of natural Jade Yoga mats, as well as bolsters and eye masks to enhance practice. Zen Gen feels like home with a lounge area and complimentary beverages both before and after class. As an adult yogi, you will find that Zen Gen’s classes are diverse enough to meet your needs and challenge you as you see fit. Offering Partner Yoga, Hatha, Yogalates, Warming Wake Up Flow, Candlelight Slow Flow, and Gentle Yoga provides you the opportunity to choose the style of yoga you need at different points in your life all at one studio.
