::Everything was going beautifully and the staff--Michael and Amy--were incredibly wonderful...until the actual wedding. The Hawaiian menu was not at all what we tested a few weeks prior. Our "coconut crusted" chicken had no coconut, our lemonade was awfully watered down, and the banana chocolate cake was so stale and tasteless that hardly ANYONE bothered touching it. Amy was horrible at keeping in touch, and I found out on the week of my wedding that she wouldn't be coordinating at all despite having paid the coordination fee. My husband and I tried to work out some compensation afterward, to no avail. The only reason I gave any stars is because the poke on the Hawaiian menu was the saving grace. But who can go wrong with poke? DON'T go with Zen Craft!

::I was appalled at how this company left a bride in groom in the worst situation you could ever leave a wedding. By taking all their money and then cancelling HOURS before the wedding. I worked with an amazing Bride and groom as a wedding coordinator and upon our first conversation with Zen Craft they told me in so many words they were really looking to get a contract with the previous venue that the bride and groom were supposed to get married at and now that they had, they weren't sure if they wanted to work with the bride and groom. I urged them to reconsider and not to ruin the wedding for this couple. They were hired to not only do decor for the wedding and reception space but also food and bartending for the reception. The evening before, I called to confirm and they said they would be there to set up around 2 hours before the wedding. The next morning they called and told me that they would not be able to do the wedding and they just didn't have time because they had booked a few gigs with the previous venue (the contract that they used this couple to get). I was so stunned and disheartened to now see this couple and all their family members have to frantically run around and have their wedding be late due to having to now get decor, food, and everything else just hours before their wedding. I have never experienced anything so unprofessional in my life and hope that couples read this and steer clear form this company.

::Zen Craft was the perfect choice for our wedding reception! They specifically tailored our menu to fit our budget and they were extremely responsive and professional throughout the whole planning process. Although we didn't use a wedding planner or decorator, Jess made the whole wedding reception run so smoothly. She set up our DIY decorations and welcome table for us and coordinated the timing of the reception with our band. The food was delicious and we got a lot of compliments from our guests! I highly recommend Zen Craft- they made everything so easy for us so we could just enjoy the wedding day!

::We loved working with Zen Craft from the very beginning of the wedding planning process until the very end of our wedding reception (and beyond, we're still thrilled!). My correspondence with Zen Craft began with Michael but we worked almost exclusively with Amy and I'm sure we would have been in great hands with either. Amy was a lifesaver and she also performed double duty for us as our day-of coordinators assistant to Stacy who was also amazing! These people played such a large role in our wedding that we were really grateful we made this decision. I could not have imagined our wedding without Zen Craft. First and foremost, their food is delicious and their skills are so versatile that they can accommodate any taste. Everything from the hors d'oeuvres to the entrees to dessert was beautifully presented and prepared. You will not be disappointed! Secondly, catering in Los Angeles is such a jaw dropping expense. Having shopped around a bit before deciding on Zen Craft I think you get an extraordinary value for all that they offer. I thought that we were working with a reasonable budget but some vendors will leave you feeling as though you are scraping the bottom of the barrel of their services. Michael let us know right away that they would be able to offer our guests the experience we wanted with the budget we had available and there were no surprises or hidden expenses anywhere. They were incredibly honest and upfront at every stage which was a huge relief. Their food is so modern and excellent, the staff was attentive and gracious (and they made sure that my now husband (!!) and I had plenty to eat!), dessert was beautifully laid out and every question or concern was immediately addressed. As our day of coordinator, Stacy took everything off my shoulders and made sure that the day went smoothly and that everything was where it was supposed to be at the right time. That is priceless! I could not recommend them more highly.

::The Zen Craft team is the absolute best. From my first conversation with Michael I knew that I was in completely capable and incredible hands. Zen Craft truly went above and beyond to please satisfy not only myself and immediate family but everyone who attended our wedding. They were overly accommodating with all of our small and large requests and even adjusted some of their recipes to satisfy my very detailed food sensitivities. I would recommend Zen Craft to everyone who is looking to cater an event, large or small. Thank you so so much for everything!
