Great ramen + izakaya dishes in an open, upbeat environment. The ramen itself is fantastic, and so are the many side dishes/other dishes. Great drinks, good prices, and helpful staff. A great place to try unusual Hokkaido Japanese food.

Came for the okonomiyaki. It was very good but considerably smaller than you would expect. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Excellent sake selection!

Loved this place in the neighborhood, and frequented regularly. Food was always great, but won't be back. Service has fallen off a cliff and is really lousy.

Our new favorite restaurant. This place has the unique ability to be cozy enough for a casual, quick lunch/dinner or an elegant 4 course dining date night. The design allows you to watch the chefs work--but what they do is better described as a performance of crafting art. We went there once three weeks ago and when we finally made it back, the owner still remembered us. Kei is just about as nice as they come. His smile warms the soul just as much as the delicious ramen served here. They have a great happy hour. Our servers have been knowledgeable and very kind on every occasion. Their drink selection is fantastic. Everything I've ordered has exceeded my expectations--and my expectations are usually pretty high. This restaurant makes me want to experience more Japanese culture and cuisine because the entire experience-from aesthetic, to community, food, and vibe-was uplifting and inspiring.

Best Japanese food I’ve had in Seattle. Everything is excellent, from the service to the sake to the atmosphere; especially since they expanded recently. Its gained a much more relaxed and professional vibe since they doubled in size and added communal tables. Highly recommended.
