The hotel is lovely. The two-star rating is based on my experience with the concierge. She couldn't give me directions to a place I was going 3 blocks away. She was sitting in front of a computer and could have easily looked on a mapping program. My phone died or I would have done it myself. While in the lobby I overhead her making fun of a guest who called to ask for assistance. Not the experience you would expect to receive at a luxury hotel.

Very good food. Expensive, but you're probably traveling on business. Friendly service, and good cocktails.

Located just off the state house and the Boston Common, XV provides splendid service at an appropriate price for quite high class, comfortable accommodations. Their connection with Mooo... as well offers really amazing food and drink, along with a world-class selection of very high-class steaks.

The rooms are great and so is the staff. The hotel drunk bet is a good plus. Chic design in the hotel and rooms. The restaurant in the hotel called Mooo is also very good. Order the Milk and Cookies from the desert menu it get it delivered to your room...sooo delicious/ warms and soft!

There is simply no comparison to the attention to detail that Amy Finsilver and her team put forth for their guests. I have stayed at the XV Beacon several times now, and they truly are a remarkable team. They take the guest experience up from all other hotels in and around Boston. I just stayed there 2 weeks ago with my 9 year old son as we were in town to (once again ) enjoy another Patriots win, and they made us feel like we were the only guests they had! From the personalized hot chocolate chip cookies waiting for us on the nightstand, to the perfect Lunch , Dinner and Breakfast at MOO, you must reward yourself the next time you're in Boston and stay at XV Beacon. Way to go Amy!!!
