Bad customer service. Took my uniform shirt to have stripes sewn onto the sleeves and a coworker who picked up his uniform called me and told me that he saw a shirt with stripes upside down. He asked the employee whose uniform it was and the employee checked and said my name. My coworker then called me and told me. I called the cleaners and asked the employee to describe which way my stripes were sewn on and I confirmed that they were upside down. The employee was the one I dropped off my shirt to and I had showed him how the stripes should be sewn on. I told him that they were sewn on wrong and he said that I told him to put them on that way. Now, I have 15 years in my profession and would never commit such an error. He was adamant in saying that I told him to put on the stripes that way and didn’t want to admit that he committed an error. He also had the nerve to say that I would have to pay to have them fixed😡. All this time I’m trying not to be nasty but I was was offended when he said that he did what I told him and that he has cameras. So, I told him to check the cameras and to remove those stripes from the shirt and I would pick them up this Friday. I then asked to speak with a manager but guess what? He said he is the manager, that’s even worse! He should be trying to keep customers and not lose them. I’ve been going there for a few years and I never expected to be treated that way. So, I told him again that I will be there Friday and hung up. Guess what happened next🤔 He called me back, he said he reviewed the camera and apologized because I was right. He still didn’t admit that he was wrong, he said that the place he sent it to messed up. Really! You were the one who put the safety pins on! Unbelievable. He then offered to have them sent back out to get fixed.Customer should always be right, especially when the fee is just $10.
