  Great gym. It is no frills as many other people wrote in their reviews, but the point of the gym is to work out and that’s why I love World Boxing Gym. Great variety of equipment, never too crowded, the staff is always very friendly and willing to help.

  I like it here. It's pretty no frills, low-key... but that doesn't mean it's outdated. Okay, so some of the machines look old, but everything is usually functioning! There are 3 floors: 1) mostly cardio machines and some weight machines and free weights; 2) more weight machines (that I can't figure out how to use and am too embarrassed to ask) and free weights, about 7(?) punching bags and a boxing ring (I think only allowed if you pay for the special boxing classes); 3) a small studio for yoga classes, which also has a few free weights and mats and 2 spin bikes. Overall, lots of things you can do. Best of all, it's never thattt busy! Plus, a free parking lot? In Jersey City?? 8D The amenities aren't anything fancy, but free towels and a locker room (with a scale) are really all you need. Relatively cheap for Jersey City (even though it's kinda in a far corner on Division St) and good hours and friendly staff and you have me sold. Minus one star only because the first floor is always so fricking hot!!

  In the gym to box and work out. I have friends with me who help me on the bench and on the bag. Management explained that we could not coach or assist each other with the bench or the bag and that we needed to pay for trainers in order to get assistance. Worse gym EVER. I will not be going back!

  The staff is very rude, the owner Adam says he got about 300 members so he doesn’t expect staff to be nice to members. Which in my opinion is the wrong approach to maintaining a strong business infrastructure. I ran many successful businesses and that was alarming that you would take that approach has an owner. The boxing classes are not ran well and the boxing trainer seems to not grasp basic fundamentals of proper boxing. I didn’t see any world class boxers there which if you are promoting to have elite boxing that seems like a bait and switch. Price is what you get 60 bucks....I will not be renewing with this place. Not worth it.....potential there but when you have a man in charge of short stature you come up short🤷🏽‍♂️👎

  One of the best gyms I've been too. Theres 4 squat racks with two deadlift platforms, and its never too busy. If you wanna just show off your pretty body and find your next hookup, this isnt for you. If youre down for some serious training with an encouraging community, now we talking.
